My Memoir

Well this semester people would have really got bored , bearing with me doing MOC for nearly four times , Once for the hostel day , once for ISTE Symposium(Synapse 07 – successful !!) , once for the Valedictory function of the CSE Asssociation of our college and one last semester for Cyber 06 I didn speak much then, though.

I end up doing some mistakes everytime , and that helps me to improvise. We really had a wonderful semester , not much studies , lotta fun , especially Plaisir 07

That was an inra departmental cultural competition conducted by CSE Association and i ended up winning prizes in mehendi , singing , tight corner, tele marketing. I also got the Miss Plaisir title . I felt it was a good opportunity to really explore such talents.Engineers should never end up doing some hard core tech stuff all the time !!!

I just attended a meeting on March 14th , that was conducted by Accel Frontline in collaboration with sun (Nice to hear they have become strategic partners of Sun with regard to marketing , It seems they have also started lotta activities in south india especially in cities like trivandrum , Madurai etc) That took place in GRT Regency , Madurai ( nice hotel and nice food ) Mr. Balaji (our faculty , one of the favourite teachers in our college infact , and my friends geethu   and ashok

accompanied me. I got a chance to speak there. I spoke on Sun’s support to academia,its academic developer programmes and how students can really get benefitted out of such activities by learning new technologies and keeping with the pace of technical growth.

I cud also interact with many people from academic instituitions , especially professors from various colleges. That was really nice interacting with the sun team (Mr Jayanthi Nagesh , Mr Satish ). who had come there.

Last but not the least we had nice dinner and we cud also talk to lotta people during the dinner. One of the memorable evenings !!!!

First meeting of sun club took place this month on march 8 th.I
conducted a class on Netbeans -5.5 . That session was for an hour.
I just taught them some basics of IDE s as more first year students were present. That took place in the conference hall of our department. Bala , agalya , geethu were there to help me. There was also demo on Netbeans and
simple features of it.I wudn say it was a success because i didnt realy know whether to talk on advaned features or to teach some basics as both first and third year students were present. So,It has been suggested to have a session on advanced netbeans features for third year students just to facilitate this . We ll be having it
the next semester.I hope i can make it more useful the next time.
